Dollars for Scholars Rock & Roll Night was a Huge Success!!
(below is an excerpt from an email from Randy Pohlman the events co-ordinator)
Blair,
The evening even exceeded my extremely high expectations.
It was a great night and we have not done the final numbers yet but
I think we raised over $100,000 for scholarships. I personally had a ball.
You all are real pros and it is just great to play with you.
Ready Steady Go did an incredible job and I thank all of you for this. As
for you individually I think you are a fantastic drummer. I could tell Nokie
was extremely pleased with what you did on Wipe Out.
It was a real treat for all of us to be with and play with Nokie. In
addition to being a great guitarist he is a really nice person and never
says a bad thing about anyone (I spent nearly four days with him).
Take care and I will see you soon.
Randy

On a personal note, Ready Steady Go would like to to humbly thank
Randy Pohlman, Nova Southeastern University and
the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business & Entreprenuership
for inviting us to be a part of this wonderful event for the last two years and we look forward to doing it again this coming February 2007!
All the performers did a FAB job and showed their soul power to the "Nth" degree.
It was a boss evening with many pleasant surprises and being able to actually play with Mr. Nokie Edwards, the legendary lead guitarist for The Ventures was truely
dream come true and an experience none of us will soon forget.
